China Global Television Network via Twitter provided the good news story of the day, with this Leopard being rescued from a deep well in India. What I didn’t know before this post is that this is not that uncommon in India.

Just a couple of weeks ago we bought you a story of a Leopard Stuck in a well. Well, now whilst Ian was checking Russia Today, he found in his words a “Bigger” story than the Leopard in a well, This time it’s an Elephant stuck in a well in Sri Lanka. Just like the Leopard story though, it’s incredible to see the locals band together to save the animal, although I think the Elephant might have a sore back for a day or two. What’s sort of amazing though is that it seems this is not unique, in fact if you search YouTube for Elephant’s in wells, they seem to be a regular occurrence unfortunately.
