I hope for your sake they’re practicing safe sex

May 20, 2008

For those who been with us a while I must confess that I’m prone to the occasional act, of what I guess could be call Anarchy. Well it all started when I was dragged out of the Kenyan Bush and at the not so tender age of about 7 or 8; we all know what absolute terrors come from that age. Anyway, I was taken to church by the school I’d just started in England.

Actually, now that I think about it there had been an earlier incident. A teacher had dragged me out of the class by my ear for saying bloody, and she’d threatened to wash my mouth out with soap. I had no idea what I’d done, I didn’t know what was the problem, I had after all only been in this, my first British school, for a couple of hours… it made no sense. Where I grew up bloody wasn’t a big deal, but then I didn’t realize I was a heathen. What I did know was I’d never been woman handled like that before and I did not like it one little bit, and I realized this race of people and me weren’t going to get on at all.

So getting back to the church thing. As far as I was concerned it was bullshit, so I told my mum, a Norwegian heathen; my father was a British heathen who went back to Africa after flying Spitfires there during WWII. Anyway, I did not want to go to church again, so I got my mum to write me a note. She also wrote me a note because I did not want to wear a school tie… nor a uniform for that matter, but I consented to wear similar colors; though later much nicer styling, and still later when they tried to give me spelling detention; I’m dyslectic though at the time we did not know that, I got my mum to write a note saying not to put me on detention.

OK so you have the picture I guess, I’m a hard ass, I’m in your face if you screw with me or mine… but I love my mum and I still ring her just about every week, and I like animals, even cats, though I will occasionally torment them as I did to my mother’s bossy horse, who tried to put me in her pecking order. So I drove her nuts to the point she would go to the furtherest end of the paddock to try, unsuccessfully, to stop me from patting her. :)

About now your wondering what is Beam on about? Well I’m about to use another dirty word…

This must be the contemporary Keystone Cops! What they didn’t think about a getaway car? Didn’t notice a car load of shocked bank robbers? Amazing, unbelievable… do too many donuts make holes in your brains or something?

An update on the Strange rocks that move by themselves

A description for the reasons for the Strange moving Rocks is shown in this video. Apparently the moving icy water when pushed vigorously by wind is the reason for the moving rocks. What do you think?

When you have to lie to make your case, the one thing you can’t fool is your subconscious, which knows you are a liar and hence you have lost face and are without honor.

This is sad, but mostly true. Everything seems to be made in China these days. Trouble is China is increasingly contributing to the global warming problem and coal power stations are popping up each week. The western world countries such as the USA need to lead by example and reduce their emissions drastically and show the way for countries such as China and India.

F111 doing over 350mph collides with Pelican at 3,000′

The F111 was flying at 900m (3,000′) on a test bombing run at Evans Head, northern NSW, when it struck a pelican with the fiberglass nose. The pelican was then sucked into one of the engines, which naturally enough reduced it’s power. It must be said that the air crew did a magnificent job of nursing the aircraft, on it’s 30-minute flight back to the Amberley Base, despite the damaged nose, wing and engine.

Australia is the only country in the world that still has F111 Long-range strike fighters, and although they are quite old, they are a very different aircraft from what they were originally. These ‘Pigs’, as they are affectionately known, a nick name related to it’s long nose and it’s ability to ‘get down in the dirt’, whilst using it’s TFR (Train Following Radar). It’s a truly awesome sight to watch one of these high speed behemoths hugging the ground, a tactic used in the ‘Hi-Lo-Hi’ operations. The F111 are still much loved and still an extremely effective aircraft.

Air Commodore Ted Bushell (rtd) has gone on record to say: “The F111 was quite capable of going out to 2020 and beyond and still retaining a very real deterrent and strategic strike capability throughout our region”. Unfortunately our politicians think they know better and they are talking about retiring the F111 by 2010. I’ve thousands of hours in various aircraft and been around aircraft for most of my life. I’ve also seen the F111 up real close and I have mates who have flown F18s to Porters and I’ve yet to meet anybody who knows what they are talking about; and doesn’t have a vested interest, who agrees with the government on this retirement in 2010.

Man mother nature throws up some strange things, mmm. Then I thought, wait a second, Namibia, isn’t that the place that Cheney and Co. said that Saddam was trying to buy Uranium form for his WMD’s?

They of course haven’t found the WMD’s yet… but the rhetorical question is, are they still looking? I mean they were absolutely sure Saddam was about to attack America with an Atomic bomb, and they used this unseen invoice; I guess it was an invoice or something like that, as part of their proof.

OK later, in regards to the Namibia link they said, Oops we made a mistake the document was forged. But the questions remains, what was the providence of the document referred to, where did they get this document from… or was it just found online and they thought ‘It must be true’?

You know it’s the little details like that that can do you in… and it would be interesting if someone would thoroughly investigate the providence of that document wouldn’t it. I bet CIA, NSA & MI6 won’t want to go there… curiouser and curiouser eh?

Moon Landing: The truth about what really happened

April 23, 2008

Video: YouTube

So this is how the moon landing really happened. Finally the footage has been released for the public to see. I guess it is almost 40 years and about time that NASA showed us the truth. Who would have thought this was how it all panned out.

The first manned Moon landing in 1969

April 23, 2008

Video: NASA via YouTube

The United States achieved the first manned landing on the surface of the Earth’s Moon on the 20th July 1969. Neil Armstrong was the first human to step onto the moon, with those now famous words “One small step for man, a giant leap for mankind.”.

The Apollo 11 mission was manned by Neil Armstrong, Edwin (Buzz) Aldrin and Michael Collins, however only Armstrong and Aldrin proceeded to the moon, Collins remaining in orbit while the lunar module was landed. I would feel just a little ripped off if I was Michael, imagine going all the way to the Moon and having to stay in the command module and wait in orbit while the other 2 get to travel down to the moon.

The thing that I find amazing about the whole Moon landing thing is that I have more processing power and memory in my Sony Clie handheld PDA than the computers on the whole of the Apollo 11 spacecraft. It is just incredible what can be done with the will and the knowhow.
