What ancients did for us - The INDIANS 2/6

Archeology has always intrigued me. About 4,500 years ago in present day Pakistan, the Harappan civilization (3,000–1,500 BCE) built what’s thought to be a remarkably advanced, extensive city built on a grid system, of some 30,000 people, totally unheard of before the Roman Empire 2,500 years later.
In this ancient planned city, homes had their own wells, drains and toilets, complete with an underground sewer system comprising of earthenware pipes, a first it seems on our planet. They also had developed an advanced method of casting intricate Bronze statues.

My musical tastes are for the most part Rock, but this piece of bluegrass, performed by Earl Scruggs and friends, obviously talented and very experienced musicians, I really like… hope you do too.
Now whilst on the topic of music I like, I have to say I hate Country and Western! They can take there sorry stories of lost love, their dog dying, being out on the prairie, being God fearing and they can also take their huge hats and belt buckles and stuff it.
Boy do I hate Country and Western, and the inane conservatism sooo much that in my last few operations to repair some injuries, just prior to being put under, I told the anesthetist. “I hate Country and Western.” Taken aback and possibly not sure what he’d heard, he said “Beg your pardon? I told him, “Just in case, my last words will be, I hate Country and Western.” He then burst out laughing and told me he was a musician and he understood.

What fascinating structures. I’m sorry to say, I had a good look around for the plans for these flat folding paper models, but I had no luck. There were plenty of Origami type things, and some weird mathematical stuff, but non of the ones shown in this video, if anybody knows where they are please let us know so we can post them.

Wonders of modern science… will it never cease. All the same I’d like one, not sure what I’d use it for though.
Perhaps it could be used to design cars, where you would learn before you made them, that you cant replace a sump gasket in some cars, without removing the motor first. Or that you can’t physically get at that back spark plug… that would be handy I guess.

Woh flash back! Weird, but not as weird as the ‘music’… perhaps the magic ingredient is the obligatory Rave Disco Biscuit.
