Atlantis The Palm, Dubai

Dubai has become known for it’s opulence and the latest addition is The Atlantis The Palm Hotel. Apparently it cost approximately 2 Billion Australian Dollars to build and they spent something like 30 Million Dollars just to put on a opening ceremony.

I am sure that they will make their money back and much more, I just went online to book a few nights at the hotel and the price per room is between 2100 and 6500 United Arab Emirates Dirham (AED) and these prices did not include a 10% Service fee and 10% municipality fee. So if you are an Aussie expect to pay in the order of $1000 to $3000 per room per night.
