The $300 Billion Betrayal

It is in my opinion corporate theft on a grand scale, and this $300 billion is just what we know about. For years the military industrialists have been ripping of governments with the tacit OK; paid for by their political donations.
The irony is, they rip off governments all over the world, then in their guise as citizens, they bleat about the tax ‘we’ are all paying… and their political donations pay off big time yet again, because they get the lion’s share of tax pay backs (top 5% of earners generally get about 80% of the monies returned).
So next time you fill up the car, remember, the high price of gas is to the advantage of the very same corporations that are responsible for the war in Iraq… unless you still believe in WMDs. They are also making countless billions directly out of this phony war, whilst millions are made homeless, a million or more are reportedly killed in Iraq and kids in the US and elsewhere go without decent health care and education to pay for this war.

Being a lover of most things that fly… especially amphibious aircraft, but an amphibious aircraft who’s wings pivot and fold back flush against the fuselage, I want one too, and I’m not a developer in the Bahamas!
At an Estimated Price: $139,000 USD it’s a bit pricey, however, I would not be using a 100-hp Rotax 912 ULS engine, I’d opt for the converted BMW 1200 bike motor, much the same power, but in my opinion a much better engine… the Germans can’t win wars, but they are excellent builders of reliable cars and bikes, and when your zipping around in the air, reliability, experience in engineering and quietness are all important considerations, wouldn’t you agree.

Practice makes perfect, practice makes perfect, practice makes perfect. No pain no gain and a host of other clichés apply here and no doubt our young prodigy Jay, if he keeps up his practice and keeps on enjoying it, will succeed irrespective of whether or not he becomes an atypical giant Basketball player.

As you can see from these videos, these are very powerful magnets, which rekindles the latent fascination we all had as kids with magnets.
Niobium, the metal used in these magnets is a rare element, used in anything requiring physiologically inert properties such as pacemakers. Niobium also becomes a superconductor when lowered to cryogenic temperatures and since Niobium has the largest magnetic penetration depth of any element, it’s capable of sustaining exceedingly strong magnetic fields.
Other more consumer related uses includes the use of Niobium magnets in therapeutic magnetic mattress overlays, used by some arthritis and rheumatism sufferers.
