You got to love some of the Photoshop stuff you see on the Net.

I remember seeing a movie once where a guy attempted to pick up a Shar-Pei and ended up with a hand full of lose skin… with the dog still on the floor.

Though I don’t remember which movie it was, I do remember the actor saying “There’s enough for two dogs in here!”. This feature bred into these dogs; for those who don’t know, is what made the Japanese Shar-Peis such good fighting dogs.

If for instance in a fight; and I do not approve at all of Dog Fights, if a Pitbull grabbed a Shar-Pei around the neck, the Shar-Pei would just swivel around in it’s skin and grab the surprised attacking dog around it’s neck and the fight would generally be all but over.

This little girl sure is confident, hopefully when she gets older she has the same approach if anyone tries to bully her. I think any young girl or boy that takes her on will be in for a big surprise in the way of a punch in the nose.

This little girl is so cute, she really seems to have the story fixed in her head. She shows a good ability to take in information and store it. I would think that she is going to do very well at school.

F111 doing over 350mph collides with Pelican at 3,000′

The F111 was flying at 900m (3,000′) on a test bombing run at Evans Head, northern NSW, when it struck a pelican with the fiberglass nose. The pelican was then sucked into one of the engines, which naturally enough reduced it’s power. It must be said that the air crew did a magnificent job of nursing the aircraft, on it’s 30-minute flight back to the Amberley Base, despite the damaged nose, wing and engine.

Australia is the only country in the world that still has F111 Long-range strike fighters, and although they are quite old, they are a very different aircraft from what they were originally. These ‘Pigs’, as they are affectionately known, a nick name related to it’s long nose and it’s ability to ‘get down in the dirt’, whilst using it’s TFR (Train Following Radar). It’s a truly awesome sight to watch one of these high speed behemoths hugging the ground, a tactic used in the ‘Hi-Lo-Hi’ operations. The F111 are still much loved and still an extremely effective aircraft.

Air Commodore Ted Bushell (rtd) has gone on record to say: “The F111 was quite capable of going out to 2020 and beyond and still retaining a very real deterrent and strategic strike capability throughout our region”. Unfortunately our politicians think they know better and they are talking about retiring the F111 by 2010. I’ve thousands of hours in various aircraft and been around aircraft for most of my life. I’ve also seen the F111 up real close and I have mates who have flown F18s to Porters and I’ve yet to meet anybody who knows what they are talking about; and doesn’t have a vested interest, who agrees with the government on this retirement in 2010.

G’day again,
this is another political post, and it is again, as with ‘The Secret Rulers of the World - Present/Past’, part of series of 5 videos which will be posted at a rate of 1 per day on PaleBluDot… and trust me, they are worth watching, hey if you disagree feel free to give me a blast.

The subprime mortgage crisis has, or will be, a wake up call for the majority of the people on the planet, one way or another. For years now, the Banks have been throwing credit at people as if there was no tomorrow… well tomorrow just dropped it’s first shoe at the door to your home, if it’s like most homes, mortgaged.

The chances are that most people have gotten a little carried away with the Banks seemingly bottomless credit. So they are now in a situation with a lot of stuff that perhaps they didn’t really need, which if they’ve had it a couple of years, is probably out of warranty and already near the point where it becomes part of the subtapography (landfill) and your undoubtedly still paying it off, which means of course they have you well and truly hooked.

Now the upside of that stuff that doesn’t last, is that it guaranties that another one’s probably going to be produced and somebody’s going to be employed to produce it. The problem is that that’s most likely not going to be you, it will probably be someone who’s not even in your country, and because the bean counting carpetbaggers, who either own or invested in the company, are driven by what could only be described as Greed and they are determined that profits should continue to increase infinitium; an obviously ridiculous assumption if one thinks about it.

The outcome is you’ve got problems, the Bank owns you and the companies you either work for or deal with know this and will take advantage of you. If your an investor or have a superannuation plan, it’s now more had than have. So what went wrong when everything looked sooo rosy only it seems like just yesterday. Well the talking heads will tell you this and that, but the truth is you were set up, and these videos will show you how it was done, who did it and ultimately why they did it.

I absolutely love this song and have so since I first heard it many years ago. I was on my way home from from my parents place tonight and heard it on the radio, so I thought it was time for it to be posted here on Getalookatthis.

So I’m looking for the song on YouTube and I see this clip with final fantasy footage and I just have to choose this version. Sorry to Gary Wright and his original clip but this footage is absolutely perfect for the song.

The human brain is such an amazing thing, but, sometimes it can’t cope or in this case, can’t get it’s ‘head’ around what’s going on with Charlie Chaplin’s head.

Now although this site is primarily a ‘general’ interest site, I have on the odd occasion placed a political or a not so general interest post on GetALookAtThis, when in actual fact they belong more on the more controversial and in your face PaleBluDot site. Anyway, I thought that this was such an important and interesting video that I should post it; or at least the first of the 29… yes that’s 29 episodes, here and link this site back to PaleBluDot should you wish to watch the rest and read the ravings of your Aussie mate.

When I first came across this ‘little’ bit of footage I thought, well I, like many others knew a lot of this stuff either factually or instinctively, but WOW! I hadn’t managed to piece the things together as well, nor as comprehensibly.

After I’d lifted my jaw back off the ground and pushed my eyes back in their sockets, I thought this explains fully why things that need to be done never get done, it explains fully why they are trying to push Nuclear Power down our throats and when they do talk about solar energy… it has to be in space, where small businesses can’t be fully involved, if at all.

This series explains sooo much and it dovetails with sooo much… it even explains the Sub prime mortgage crisis; which I always felt was contrived, and how it will result in taking from the ‘poor’ and giving to the extremely rich. It explains why all countries are in debt and how that’s used to effectively make democracy nothing but an diabolical illusion, an ‘in’ joke for those in power.

This sequence of footage has got it all folks, Elizabeth Taylor and Richard Burton, Jesus and Mary; both of them. It has Secret societies, major cities like London, Rome and New York. It has the ancient Pyramids of Egypt with their Pharaohs, as well as the Pope and the Queen with all their wealth Gold and precious jewels, you name it, it’s got it… I hope you enjoy the series (all 29 of them) as much as I do.
