Rabbit asleep on a Python?

Man I just don’t get this, this photo is so wrong, first I see footage of a Rabbit attacking a snake!… a fairly large snake at that, now here’s what appears to be a Rabbit curled up and actually sleeping on a Snake, that’s on par with me sleeping on a crocodile, what gives?

Cartoon: Gary Larson
I’ve bought several of Gary Larson’s Far Side calenders over the years and I have received enormous value from them… I must be just as warped I guess. Anyway, it’s always good to see your views on anything so often expressed so well in cartoon form.

That was never going to work… at the very least they should have thought to jam the door open. The upside is, I bet the guy on the couch had a good laugh and story to tell.

The ‘Nemo’ Clown fish have had their day, time for a new fish folks… Mandra Synchiropus splendidus (syn. Pterosynchiropus splendidus), bit of a mouthful; and watch out Otto for that spike on the back.
It’s apparently a popular fish sold to aquarium owners… but unfortunately they more often than not die. So Kkken and co., save the fish, buy a plastic one, or get an Aquarium screen saver instead.
Sir Walter Raleigh (1552-1618)

“Statue of Sir Walter Raleigh in London, England. In addition to his fame for establishing the first English colony in the New World, Raleigh was also a respected writer and poet. Originally a favorite of Queen Elizabeth, Raleigh was later beheaded for treason in 1618.”
But my idea for this post came from ‘Today In Alternate History‘.
“In 1584, history’s most infamous drug dealer Sir Walter Raleigh was granted a patent to exploit the deadly tobacco narcotic in Virginia. Approximately 5.5 trillion cigarettes are produced globally each year by the tobacco industry, smoked by over 1.1 billion people, which is more than one-sixth of the world’s total population. In the year 2000, global smoking deaths reached 5 million making Raleigh the greatest mass murderer in history.”
I guess karma caught up with Walter… in advance.
Happy birthday tobacco companies… your time will come, though I’m still mystified as to how your executives got away with manifest barefaced lies uttered under Oath to The Grand Jury back in 1994… surely there aren’t two Laws, one for the rich and one for the poor, the colored and the ‘Pot heads’ who’s vice, unlike Tobacco, has NEVER been directly responsible, probably in what 10 or 20 thousand years, for a single death. mmm

I love it, it was Commissioned by Burnley Council UK. The collection of tubes makes the strange spooky sounds when the wind blows, which is often on the moorland overlooking Burnley. Seen in the background is Pendle Hill, famous for the Pendle Witches.
PRIVATE CLOUD BED

Photo: Private Cloud
The translation from German to English goes something like This:-
“With Private Cloud offers a unique piece of furniture, which by ourselves to the highest quality standards developed, produced and marketed. The schaukelnde bed requires little more space than a “normal” bed, but revolutionized every bedroom. Convince yourself and make yourself on the following pages, even an impression of private Cloud.”
No I’ve spent a bit of time in clouds, and although the look nice and inviting, they are not, they are generally damp, cold and scary places to be in a light aircraft… known to hide Granitious Columbus (mountain in clouds).
Not too impressed with the name but I love that bed.

Tigers

There are no land based animals I more admire than the Tigers, they are, in my opinion, the ultimate creature to tread the Earth at present. Sure Elephants are bigger and perhaps more dangerous as indeed are several other animals, it’s just that big cats, but more particularly the Tiger, have got style, movement and a right to be arrogant in abundance… unlike their domestic ‘I want to be fed now’ pussies.
Mind you I have met a couple of breeds of pussies that I liked, one was a Burmese cat and the other was an Abyssinian cat. Both of these breeds of cats seemed to me to be more dog like than cat like, that is, they didn’t come across as masters rather than friends or pets.
