“Richard Branson’s Virgin Galactic, XCOR Aerospace, Jeff Bezos’s Blue Origin—are fixated on getting humans to space, a company called Orbital Outfitters is working on an innovative way of bringing them back, whether it’s done purely as a sport or as an emergency backup plan in case things go awry.”

If your pressure suit failed your blood would boil in the virtual vacuum of space 60 miles up, that’s almost 320,000 feet which is more than three times Joseph Kittinger’s 102,800 feet current world record Skydive made on August 16, 1960.

With an estimated terminal velocity of some 2,500 miles an hour and the sensation of stepping into the world’s deepest hole with little or no control because of the absence of air… unlike Richard’s first and we hoped last two Skydives, I’d suggest he leaves it up to the professionals with talent, hell I’d come out of semi-retirement again for a shot at this one, though somehow I doubt it would be Richard doing the jump.
